Checkers

Checkers is a classic two-player strategy board game. Each player controls a set of pieces and aims to capture all of their opponent's pieces or block them from moving. The game is played on an 8x8 checkered board, and players take turns moving diagonally across dark squares. Pieces can jump over opponents' pieces to capture them, and reaching the opponent's end of the board promotes a piece to a king, allowing it to move backward as well.
